AppiaDay 2025 is honored to host, throughout the event on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 October, the Legio Secunda Parthica Severiana with a two-day camp, featuring tents, racks, awnings, and educational tables with objects and tools; among these, a scriptorium with inks and papyrus scrolls written in cursive Latin, a small temple dedicated to the Eastern god Mithras, a groma to explain road construction, a coin die, and many other curiosities straight from ancient Rome.
We welcome both adults and children who wish to immerse themselves in a real Roman camp.
During the two days, in addition to military demonstrations with beautiful and impeccable costumes, there will also be free classes in ancient Oriental dance, archery, and a legionary school for children and adults.
